Upcoming Java Development Kit 6.0

What another version? Java development process were fast enough, not long ago we just amazed by JDK 1.5.0 and now ... the JDK 1.6.0 is here!

Java SE 6, code name Mustang is the totally new playground for Java-lover (like myself). By the time I wrote this, it is stil very much on Beta phrase ... so let's hope for a better platform!

The framework:



The major themes of the Mustang release are expected to be:
- Compatibility and Stability
- Diagnosability, Monitoring, and Management
- Ease of Development
- Enterprise Desktop
- XML & Web Services
- Transparency

Project Schedule:
Early Draft - April 2005
Public Review - Late 2005
Final Release - Mid 2006
